Venture to Vientiane
Private Tour
Starting from $259 pp
Vientiane is not one of the largest capitals in the world but it does hold some hidden secrets. The imposing Patuxay Monument (Laos version of the Arc de Triumph) and the incredible golden stupa of That Luang, the country’s national monument are a must-see for every traveler. Wander down to riverside, sit and relax watching the sun set over the Mekong with an ice-cold Beerlao.
See a different non-touristic side of the city by starting with a unique tuk-tuk food tour. You will visit the local market near That Luang that comes alive at night. It is a firm favourite for locals but tourists are rarely seen. Visit the quirky but interesting Buddha Park which homes an enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures, a huge reclining Buddha and of course a giant pumpkin.
