Overview

Myanmar ExpressOur express tour takes you to three locations in this fascinating country. On this break away you get the best of everything and once you visit Myanmar you will surely be back again as the region, its culture and its people are unique and enchanting. Burmese people are gentle, interesting and inquisitive but above all they are really trying to keep their traditions alive.

Starting in Yangon your introduction to this incredible country is the world famous Shwedagon Pagoda, a stunning gold stupa which symbolises the ‘heart’ of Buddhist Myanmar. Traveling onwards to Bagan you get two contrasting experiences. The first where you will discover the mesmerising temples that spread over the plains of Bagan. The second is a fascinating insight into local rural life and the life of a Buddhist monk with a day trip to Kyun Thiri Island. Your getaway then ends with a discovery tour of Mandalay and sunset at the incredible teak U Bein Bridge.
