Land of the Rising Dragon

About Myanmar

Myanmar Express

It is unlikely you have been in a place like Burma. The mystical atmosphere, imperial architecture, dreamlike beach paradises and over a hundred ethnic groups make the Golden Land a truly unique place. The people are humorous, polite and passionate; it is not difficult to make a connection with them and be intrigued by their stories.

Myanmar’s natural beauty is endless. Vast plains full of life and biodiversity, a coastline with one of the best beaches in the world and the most stunning sacred architecture. The country’s highlands are home to rhinoceros, wild buffalo, elephants and gibbons. Crystal clear water lakes, floating villages, markets and gardens and spectacular pagodas across the country; Myanmar never fails to surprise travellers.

It is important to remember that Myanmar is going through times of social and political change. Its troubled history is overshadowed by the courage and optimism of Myanmar’s people. The tourism sector is still a work in progress; services and infrastructure are not as developed as in neighbouring countries. However Myanmar offers an authentic travel experience that open minded travellers will find truly rewarding.
